Double the quantities of these herbs if you are using fresh leaves of lemon balm, and flowering of St. John’s wort. The flowering tops are the flowers and about 3 to 5 inches of the stem.
1/4 c. lemon balm leaves
1/8 c. dried licorice root
1/4 c. ST. John’s Wort
2 c. aloe vera gel
2 Tbs. cayenne or turmeric
8 drops lavender essential oil, or tea tree oil
Blend the first 5 ingredients in a quart size dark jar. Let it sit for 24 hours at room temperature. Drain tightly with a woven cloth in a clean jar. Add the essential oils and tighten the cap. Store into the refrigerator. Apply to a test patch to normal skin, if it burns add more aloe vera gel. If it does not burn than adda bit more cayenne. Apply to rash 3 to 5 times a day. If the cayenne burns to much than omit the cayenne.
