Food Recipe of the Day: German Meatballs For Sauerkraut


German Meatballs For Sauerkraut

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 lb. ground port

1 egg

1 medium onion, chopped

1/3 cup rice, uncooked

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

2 large cans of sauerkraut

1/2 c. sour cream

Mix the above ingredients together, roll into meatballs and place into the sauerkraut. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.  Add 1/2 c. sour cream before serving.
