This is a great gift or a after dinner drink. It is very smooth.
2 c. unflavored brandy
4 c. Granny Smith apples, chopped coarsely
1 c. sugar
4 sticks of cinnamon, broken up
Place all ingredients in a large glass jar, stir well to dissolve the sugar. For 4 or 5 days turn the jar upside down and shake to help sugar dissolve. Store in a dark cool place for 4 to 6 weeks. Strain with several layers of cheesecloth, than strain through a coffee filterand put into a bottle than cork. This will make about 3 cups.
