Bedbugs hide their eggs behind loose wallparer, in walls and floor cracks,nail holes,light switch boxes, and window frames, wooden bed frames. If there is a problem with bedbugs, you should send mattresses and pillows out to be fumigated. Clean thoroughly and vacuum the entire room plus every thing in it. Wash the linens and blankets in the hottest water possible. Apply this exterminating powder in all cracks and crevices where bedbugs may be hiding.
Be safe because ingredients are toxic, especially if ingested. Keep away from children and pets where this powder is spread.
3/4 c.powdered alum
2 Tbs. boric acid
2 Tbs. salicylic acid
Stir all ingredients together in a bowl. Sprinkle all infected areas. Buy a new garden duster to blow the powder into crevices.
Note : Buy alum sold as an astringent ( potassium aluminum sulfate ) not the alum sold as a pickling agent.
