Herb of the Day: Quercetin


Quercetin is a bioflavonoid, which is a type of plant pigment found in almost all herbs and plant food, especially abundant in broccoli, onions, red apples, blue green algae, black tea, and red wine. Being a antioxidant it has been found to block destructive structural changes in cells that helps to prevent abnormal cell and to have antiviral activity against human immuno deficiency virus, HIV, growth, herpes simplex, polio virus, and respiratory syncytial virus. It inhibits the synthesis of enzymes that can cause allergic reactions.
Aids with: allergies, asthma, emphysena, hives, atherosclerosis, cancer(,bladder, breast, colorectal, and ovarian cancer cells)canker sores, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, celiac disease, eczema, wrinkles, gout, headache, migraine, prostatitis.
