Food Recipe of the Day: Blueberry Sour Cream Pancakes

Blueberry Sour Cream Pancakes

1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 beaten egg
1 c. sour cream
1 c. milk
1 c. blueberries
2 tsp. oil
1/4 c. melted butter

In a bowl combine dry ingredients thoroughly. In another bowl combine egg, sour cream, oil, and milk. Blend into flour mixture until lumpy. Mix in blueberries. With a large spoon or ladle drop onto hot greased griddle. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn; and cook until brown. Remove from griddle. Brush each pancake with melted butter. Serve with your favorite syrup. Or whipped cream with strawberry, or blueberries sauce on top. Tip: Always use standard measuring cups and spoons and make measurements level.
