Herbal Healing: Alzheimer’s Tea


Helpful herbs for Alzheimer’s disease are ginkgo biloba and gotu kola, which can enhance blood circulation; and raspberries and black currants, which contains anthocyanidians, known to fight free radicals, reduce blood vessel plaque formation and maintain capillary blood flow.

Alzheimer’s Tea #1
2 tsp. ginkgo biloba leaves
2 Tbs. gotu kola
2 c. boiling water

Combine the herbs in a glass container and cover with the water. Steep for 30 minutes and strain. Take 1/4 c. 3 times a day.

Alzheimer’s Tea #2

2 Tbs. raspberry leaves
2 tsp. black currant leaves
2 c. boiling water

Combine the herbs in a glass container and cover with the water. Steep for 30 minutes, strain. Take 1/2 c. several times a day.
