Chicken with Spanish Sauce

1 3 lb. fryer, cut in serving size
2 Tbs. olive oil
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 minced clove garlic
1/2 c. minced onion
1 28 oz. can tomatoes
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 tsp. Thyme
2 Bay leaves

Directions Heat oil in skillet an quickly brown chicken pieces. Remove and put in a casserole dish. In same skillet, lightly brown onions, green peppers and garlic. Add to casserole dish with tomatoes, wine, and herbs. Cover and bake 350 regress until chicken is tender, about 1 hour.
