Food Recipe of the Day: Homemade Garlic Croutons

This recipe is fast and easy and a way to use up the stale bread.

Homemade Garlic Croutons

1 Tbs. unsalted butter
1 Tbs. olive oil
2 cups stale bread cubes
French or sour dough are the best
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp tarragon
1/2 tsp. chervil
Parmesan cheese

In a medium non stick skillet melt butter and olive oil over medium high heat. Add bread cubes stirring continually, for 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low, add garlic, tarragon, chervil continue to cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat an toss in a bowl with Parmesan cheese
