Herb Remedies: Calendula Cream


Calendula essential oil is not widely available, more common is infused oil, when the flowers are infused in a warm oil and strained. Calendula treats anything from snake bites to toothaches. The famous herbalists Nicholas Culpeper and John Gerard called the calendula flower, A comforter of the heart and spirits.The oil is good for dry skin, chapped skin, eczema, diaper rash, cracked nipples, and varicose veins. It is a first aid kit for cuts, grazes, wounds, insect bites.

Calendula Cream

Directions:
Add calendula oil drop by drop to any ready make unperfumed pure plant cream. Blend thoroughly. Stop using the oil when the cream becomes a soft usable consistency. Do not worry about adding to much calendula oil. Pure plant creams are often found from suppliers of essential oils.
