Red raspberries are, of course, delicious. The leaves are considered one of the most beneficial herbs for women, especially during pregnancy. There are many nutrients that help to strengthen the walls of the uterus. If you have ever been pregnant, then you probably experienced morning sickness. The special properties of red raspberry leaves help to alleviate nausea, prevents hemorrhaging and reduces pain during childbirth. This is one of the few herbs that can be taken during pregnancy without the possible harmful side effects.
It can also help to prevent false labor pains. Red raspberry leaves will also enrich colostrum found in breast milk.
For children, red raspberry leaves will aid with colds and flu, diarrhea, colic and fevers.
