Native to South America, Taheebo is currently being used in some South American hospitals to treat cancer. They have reported great success by using this herb. There are currently many studies showing that pao d’arco is a powerful, natural antibiotic with virus killing properties. Some herbalists believe that it contains compounds that appear to attack the cause of diseases.
The main action of pao d’arco seems to be the ability to but the body into a defense posture, giving the body the necessary strength to defend itself and even resist disease.
