Ginger Pork on Pineapple

1 pineapple
1 lb. lean ground pork
1/4 chopped green onions
1 Tbs. vinegar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp Mrs dash table salt, or salt of your liking
1 men green pepper cut in pieces
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts,drained

Pare pineapple cut crosswise into 6 slices. Place on rack sprayed with non stick cooking spray in broiler pan. Cook and stir ground pork,onion in a skillet over med. heat until port is light brown. Stir remaining ingredients. Heat until boiling ,reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally,until bell pepper is crisp,tender about 10 minutes. Set oven to broil. Broil pineapple 4 to 5 inches from heat 5 minutes,turn broil until hot and bubbly 3 to 5 minutes longer. Serve pork mixture over pineapple. For 6 servings about 2/3 c. pork mixture on each slice of pineapple.
