Spicy Beef Salad/Spicy Dressing
1 Lb. beef flank steak,or boneless sirloin
2 tab. sherry
1 Tab. soy sauce
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup sliced thin green onion with tops
2 med. tomatoes cut in chunks
4 cups sliced mushrooms
1 small shredded lettuce
Trim fat,cut into 2 inch stripes. Cut stripes 1/8 inch across the grain.Toss beef sherry,soy sauce,sugar in bowl or heavy plastic bag.cover refrigerate 30 minutes. Heat non stick skillet over med.
heat. Add beef stir fry until no longer pink.Remove beef,drain.Toss beef with green onions in large bowl. Layer tomatoes,mushrooms,lettuce over meat. Cover refrigerate at least 1 hour no longer. Pour spicy dressing over salad,toss well until coated. Serve.
1/4 c.rice wine
2 Tbs. soy sauce
1tsp. finely chopped gingerroot
1tsp. sesame oil
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
1 clove garlic,finely chopped
Shake all ingredients well.
