French Bean

French bean contains lectins,saponins,flavonoids,allantoin,amino acids,sugars.
French beans have been used since ancient times in treatment of diabetes. It is thought to originate from South America. Varieties are cultivated all over the world. Ripe beans are gathered in summer. Being a important food in many parts of the world, French bean have two main medicinal uses. The pods are a medium strength diuretic,stimulating urine flow and the flushing of toxins from the body. Powdered or infused,they are also hypoglycemic.reducing blood glucose levels in the treatment of diabetes. Powdered beans can be dusted on weeping eczema to relieve itching and help dry the skin.
