Food Recipe of the Day: Baked Peach French Toast

This recipe is so good and you can use any can fruit you desire I like the peach (make sure it is drain well.)

Baked Peach French Toast:

1 package cream cheese,soften
10-14 slices about 1 inch thick French bread
1 can (29 oz. ) peaches slices, drained
1/4 cup chopped nuts
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/3 cup maple flavored syrup
2 Tbs. margarine,melted
1 Tbs. honey
1 Tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 Tsp. nutmeg
1 Tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spread cream cheese over both sides of bread slices. Place bread into 13×9 inch baking pan.Prick bread several times with tooth pick. Top with peaches,sprinkle nuts over peaches. In large bowl whisk eggs milk,syrup,butter,honey,cinnamon,nutmeg,and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread. Bake 20-25 minutes or until center is set.
