Food of the Day:Fresh Strawberry Pie

Got the dishwashin’ blues: just think( For by this stack of evidence, God’s very good to us )

Fresh Strawberry Pie

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 1/2 Tbs. cornstarch
2 Tbs. light corn syrup
1 4 oz. package strawberry jello
2 pints fresh strawberries washed and halved
1 9 inch graham cracker crust
Whipped cream topping

Mix sugar,water,cornstarch, and syrup. Cook until thick and clear in appearance. Add half of the dry jello to syrup mixture and stir. Place strawberries in graham cracker pie crust. Pour filling over strawberries. Chill and serve with whipped cream topping.
