Herb Recipe of the Day: Menstrual Tea

Here is a tea that I have used in the past to help get me through those times when cramps and discomfort got the best of me.

Menstrual Tea

1 qt water
1/4 oz chamomile
1/4 oz valerian
1/4 oz lady’s mantle
1/4 oz raspberry leaf
1/4 cup honey

Take water and herbs and bring to a boil in a medium sized saucepan. Once boiling starts, turn down heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Take off the stove and strain. Add honey before it cools completely and mix well. Take one cup 2-3 cups a day or use as needed.
