How To of the Day: Keep Deer Out of Your Garden

I just received this recipe from a friend in Oregon who gave me permission to send it along to you. If you’re like me you have deer eating your trees and gardens with equal abandon. I finally have a recipe that should keep them away this season. Hope it helps.

Ingredients:
3 large eggs
3 cloves garlic (Fresh)
2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
3 tbsp cayenne pepper
3 cups water

Directions:
Take all ingredients and put into a blender. Blend until pureed and put into a jar that has a lid. Let the mixture set for 2-3 days. Pour or spray around the areas you want to protect.

    • Hi Tango,
My son says that the best item to use for squirrels/bats/mice or rodents in general is crushed up moth balls put into socks and left where you’re seeing them. Buy the moth balls not the crystals to get the best effect.
