My son suffers from asthma and rather than use an inhaler he uses an herbal infusion to ease the discomfort. This is really rather easy to make and it only takes two different herbs combined.
2 cups water
1 tbsp eucalyptus (either the herb or substitute 1 tsp Eucalyptus oil)
1 tbsp chamomile (a soothing sedative w/out side effects)
Once the infusion has sat for a couple of minutes, take it off the stove.
After you make the infusion, place your face over the pan, and take a towel and put it over your head, like a tent. Breath the steam deeply until the pressure in your lungs relaxes and you can breath freely again.
