Bonus Recipe of the Day: Health Bread

This is a pretty simple recipe for a healthy, quick recipe for a pretty decent bread. Now it’s not Wonder bread, but I think that homemade is better anyway. Anyway, this is a great way to get your fiber. Enjoy!

1 Egg
3 cups Buttermilk
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
2 cups flour (wheat flour optional)
4 cups bran

Mix ingredients together in the order given.
Pour in a greased pan and bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes
Take out of oven and enjoy

This recipe is so simple, it only takes 5 minutes to put together.
