Bayberry is a great cold fighter, when used at the first sign of a cold. It is even more effective when used in conjunction with cayenne. When made into a tea, it can be used as a gargle for sore throats and tonsillitis. It helps stimulate the adrenal glands and cleans the blood stream of waste materials.
In India, bayberry is mixed with ginger to fight off the ill effects of cholera. Bayberry helps stimulate the system, raises immunity to disease and aids in digestion, nutrition and building the blood.
